Note: The SM-BSSPT version 2 requires 24 volts of phantom power from the customer’s mixer or phantom power supply in order to work properly in all applications. Lower voltages may not energize the mute circuit, which is required for muting/push to talk functionality. With insufficient phantom power, the base will pass audio at all times, functioning like a standard SM-BS instead.
